The Week Before: Prepping for Liftoff
Before your official first day, you'll receive a flurry of emails from our HR team. Expect a few details here and there and a request for some info from you. You will be getting a formal call confirmation 5 days before your joining date and one welcome email 1 day before your joining with the reporting time and location.
Pro tip: The company name stands for ‘Look What You’ve Done’, but you might hear us refer to ourselves as 'LWYD' – it's not a secret code, just our quirky shorthand. You'll be using it before you know it!
Day 1: The Big Bang
It's here – your first day at LWYD! We promise not to overwhelm you with an information tsunami. There'll be some paperwork (because even creative geniuses need health insurance), but we'll keep it light. You’ll be receiving your official mail along with your Razorpay and Plum id’s. Your salary account details and procedure will also be initiated in the first few days.
If it seems appropriate, you may also be asked to sit in a few meetings so that you get more familiar with the process, it's more 'casual hangout' than 'corporate snooze-fest'. On other days, expect a friendly chat with your immediate team.
Your team lead will probably schedule some intro calls later in the day. And remember, there's no need to stay glued to your screen all day – we believe in quality over quantity.

Our HR team will check in with you after your probation period of three months has ended. It's a chance to discuss how you're settling in, if we're living up to your expectations (we aim to exceed them!), and how we can support you better.
Remember, if things don't click, it's not you, it's us (really). We believe our hiring process is pretty solid, but nobody's perfect. This period is about making sure we're the right fit for each other at this point in time.
